Department Hours

Monday & Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday & Thursday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friday — Sunday: CLOSED

Receive one nutrition counseling session for no charge. Be empowered to make healthy choices.

If you have charges, you may use your insurance. The Health Center participates with most insurance companies. Please bring your insurance card and NCard. 30 days after your visit, your charges will automatically be transferred to your UNL student bill on MyRED. You also have the option to pay at time of service. More information

About Our Services

Our dietitian is available to help you tailor your diet to meet your personal health needs through an individualized, collaborative approach. You will not receive a strict meal plan or unrealistic advice but instead will be assisted in developing personalized strategies for developing healthy choices that will lead to improved well-being.

Most sessions include:

  • Determining your nutrition goals
  • Discussing healthy nutrition choices
  • Planning for nutrition behavior changes (tracking nutrition choices, planning meals)
  • Discussing simple, healthy recipes

Our dietitian can help you with issues such as, but not limited to:

  • Vegetarian and vegan diets
  • Digestive disorders
  • Disordered eating
  • Meal planning tips
  • General health and wellness
