Travel Clinic/Immunizations

World Map Travel and Immunization services are available to UNL students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

THE TRAVEL CLINIC provides all required immunizations for traveling abroad. Vaccine and health information is updated daily from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

During you travel visit your itinerary will be reviewed and you will be given a printout with the following recommendations:
  • Vaccines needed to travel abroad
  • Disease precautions in that country
  • General and Current country specific concerns
  • Medical facilities in that country
  • Embassy locations
  • Crime information for that country
  • Yellow fever official booklet

THE IMMUNIZATION CLINIC offers all routine vaccinations including the new HPV and Shingles vaccine. Blood titers such as MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis can be done at the UHC lab. Influenza clinics are held each fall on City and East Campus.

  • Monday - Friday (8:30 AM -11:30 AM and 1:30 - 4:30 PM)

Appointments
  • Call 472-5000 and ask for appointment with the travel or immunization nurse
  • Travel History forms needs to be completed by all NEW patients, including children.
  • Download and complete the form and bring it with you at your appointment
Parking and map instruction:
  • Parking is available behind the Health Center on Vine Street between 14th and 16th streets
  • Use the designated parking lot labeled 'Patient Parking'
  • Inform the check in clerk that you are parked in that particular parking lot. This will prevent getting a parking ticket.
