UHC Closed July 3-4, 2009
The University Health Center (UHC) will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2009 and Saturday, July 4, 2009, in observance of Independence Day. If you need medical assistance during that time, the contact page lists all of your options. Have a safe and healthy holiday weekend!
The UHC
The University Health Center (UHC) is your first stop on campus for all of your healthcare needs. The UHC consists of a primary care medical clinic with NO CHARGE visits for students and specialty, ancillary (pharmacy, laboratory, physical therapy, and radiology), and dental services at reduced costs. CAPS has many psychologists, social workers, counselors and psychiatrists who are available to respond to a broad spectrum of concerns and issues, and the Health Education Department can provide information and resources to assist you in making healthy lifestyle choices.
The UHC Online
The UHC also has many resources available online. The Health Topics provide information on various health issues ranging from alcohol to tobacco. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers online screenings for six confidential mental health concerns including depression and anxiety. The Health Education Department has online health screenings to help assess your health and wellbeing.
When the University is closed due to inclement weather, check the UHC Inclement Weather Policy page for clinic operation hours.
