I am nearing 20 years with Nebraska Medicine and UNMC as a registered dietitian, clinical diabetes care, and education specialist. In addition to my role at the University Health Center, I am a diabetes and nutrition specialist for the hospital in Neligh, NE, as well as an insulin pump specialist for patients throughout northeast Nebraska. What led me to become a registered dietitian was the interesting science of nutrition that then grew into a love for improving human health and wellness through small nutritional changes. I truly enjoy the excited energy a person reveals when they see progress from the changes they have made! I currently live in my hometown of Neligh with my husband Brian and our beloved dog Roodle. I somewhat like cooking but really love food, especially meals shared with family and friends! I enjoy the outdoors, walking Roodle, riding horses, traveling, and watching sunsets.
